Steve Flanders is a Senior Director of Engineering at Splunk (acquired by Cisco) responsible for the Observability Platform team, which includes contributions to the OpenTelemetry project. He was previously the Head of Product at Omnition (acquired by Splunk). Prior to Omnition, he led log analytics and data collection at VMware.
